An interesting church made up of bricks. When compared to other places, this is not a big show for a tourist but if you stay close, I can suggest a visit to St. Willibrord.

Interesting church that belongs to a splinter group of Catholics. The priests can get married, so it is said that many catholic priests who wanted to marry joined this church. Good ambience inside. There was drums group when I went there and I enjoyed it.

Kleines Kirchengebäude mit recht wenig Schmuck, recht untypisch für das sonst schwer barocke Bayern. Dennoch lohnt es sich, bei Gelegenheit, den Kirchenraum zu erkunden und sich die vergleichsweise kurze Geschichte des Kirchleins erzählen zu lassen. Neben der alt-katholischen Gemeinde nutzt als Mieter auch die rumänisch-orthodoxe Gemeinde die Kirche. Einmal im Monat gibt es einen anglikanischen Evensong. Und ja, auch diese Kirche der Alt-Katholiken hat ihre Ecken und Kanten, auch hier treffen Menschen unterschiedlicher Coleur zusammen und jeder versucht sein Bestes. Das geht wie überall mal in die gefühlt falsche Richtung, mal wieder aber genau richtig. Die Kleinheit der Kirchengemeinschaft lässt Chancen, man ist nicht von einem weit entfernten Entscheider abhängig, sondern trägt selbst die Verantwortung hier in Deutschland. Die Kleinheit bringt aber auch die Seiten leichter ans Tageslicht, die sonst wahrscheinlich im "Großen und Ganzen" eher übersehen werden. Es ist anders als in den Großkirchen, aber so viel anders dann halt doch wieder nicht. Einfach mal hingehen, angucken, ausprobieren - keiner ist verpflichtet zu bleiben, wir haben die Freiheit.

Католическая церковь из красного кирпича. Внутри , с точки зрения туриста, ничего интересного, только витражи. Кстати, на коляске сюда не попасть(

Was für ein hübsches, Kirchlein im Herzen der Landeshauptstadt. Wir haben hier vor ein paar Tagen unser traditionelkes Advents- und Weihnachtssingen veranstaltet (Nine Lessons and Carols) - der hervorragende Munich English Choir ist aufgrund der vorzüglichen Akkustik des Gebäudes gebührend zur Geltung gekommen. Freue mich schon auf die nächste Gelegenheit, wieder dort hin zu kommen.
