München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

With the Messner lady'' mobile phone blaring in the silence and her talking loudly into the phone it was not acceptable at all. Show some respect lady, even if you work there!! Some people really come to contemplate in silence!!

Built from 1888 to 1895, St. Benno belongs to most important neo-Romanesque churches of the 19th century. Focus on the impressive mosaics! Must see during a stroll in Maxvorstadt/ Neuhausen.
