The church is registered as ST. Anna parish church, but it looks like the hand gesture of the depicted sculpture has been altered from the original gesture. It looks to me like a non religious gesture.. What do you think.?

Roman designed catholic church with more than one dom ceiling and a lots of sculptures from the outside. built in the late 19th century, destroyed during WW2 and rebuilt around 1950's. a well kept church with amazing statues inside.

One of the interesting churchs to see in Munich is St. Anna im Lehel (Parish Church of St. Anna), a late 19th-century church just opposite the Abbey Church of St. Anna on St.-Anna-Straße. The church features a Romanesque exterior with an attractive facade and tower that is worth spending a few minutes to enjoy. There is a nice fountain outside the church as well. The interior of the church features a nice high altar, apse mosaic and two side chapels which branch from the church nave. We enjoyed our brief visit to St. Anna im Lehel, finding this to be photogenic and an overall interesting church to visit. A bit isolated from the main sightseeing area, there are a few interesting things to see in the area including the abbey church just across the street. Give it 15-20 minutes of time if you plan to spend time in this area during your visit to Munich.
