Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Nürnberg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

A place of great historical significance that offers an important opportunity to reflect on one of the darkest chapters of the 20th century. Walking through the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds provides valuable insight into how propaganda and mass gatherings were used by the regime. The site is well preserved, and together with the Documentation Center, it presents the history in a thoughtful and educational way. A powerful and worthwhile visit for anyone interested in World War II and modern history.

The whole place is under construction, can't see a thing. I gave 2 instead of 1 because I just have been to the colloseum in rome a few days a go. The place were built in aspiration of the colloseum, it does look like the colloseum but like 3 times bigger and 3 times more fascinating

The construction of the new theater has completely ruined the view of the courtyard. It’s definitely not worth the trip; you'd be better off spending your money on a ticket to visit a concentration camp memorial.

A very somber place where the Nazis had rallies in Nürnberg. Unfortunately, there is only a very informative exhibit as they are refurbishing the place. We would have loved to have been able to enter the inside.

An unfinished monument, humongous in size, now being used as multiple different things, from offices to photo shoot place and maybe a theatre in some years. Has a large lake around and a big walkway. So overall a nice place to roam around.
