About Historische Felsengänge - NKG GmbH

Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This was an incredible experience from start to finish! The brewery and whisky tour was fascinating, and the history behind it all was absolutely captivating. Learning how the brewery and distillery evolved over the years made the entire experience even more meaningful. Our tour guide was outstanding and truly made the tour special. They were incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about sharing the history and craftsmanship. They even took the time to include explanations in English just for me, which I greatly appreciated. It made me feel so welcome and allowed me to fully enjoy and understand everything. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting. Between the rich history, the excellent brewery and whisky experience, and such an exceptional tour guide, it was easily one of the highlights of my trip.

A must do tour while in Nuremburg. Our guide was very informative and told us all about the history of the tunnels and Nuremburg. Should also sample the red beer after the tour.

What an amazing experience. Went underground and learned the history. Ate at the restaurant ontop & had some legendary beer. A beer sampler. Tried all kinds. Live the red. You must try the red. In the cave if you have a tour guide like mines you really learn the amazing history of beer & Germany. Man is it interesting. It was common to drink beer over water due to the water being dirty so even babies & children drank beer. Really cool seeing one of the first machines to make beer & that it still runs & makes the amazing beer you get to sample at this craft bewery whisky bar slash amazing upscale restaurant. Service is spectacular. Absolute gourmet! Get your tickets reservations, book early. We did it through our tour group. Super busy and popular here. Carved out of sandstone, these structures were primarily used for the storage of beer and date back to 1380. The tunnels were also used as a bunker complex by thousands during air raids in 1945. It was neat to walk through the maze of rooms and tunnels beneath the city and experience the cooler underground conditions. This short tour guides you through the dungeons located beneath Nuremberg’s old city hall. These networks of cells

This was a really fun and informative tour! We were lucky to get a tour in English (at this time, only offered on the weekends at a specific time). The tour is very well organized and explains the labyrinth of caves very well. Highly recommend!!
