About Hotel Alfa

Located at Hirtenstraße 22, 80335 München-Maxvorstadt, Hotel Alfa operates as a hotel serving München in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.

No opening hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times, and remember that most shops in Germany close on Sundays and public holidays. You can reach Hotel Alfa on 089 5459530; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. Its website is hotel-alfa.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 1,211 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded hotels in München.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I can 100% recommend Hotel Alfa. It is in a pleasant location right next to the main train station, where you can also find plenty of shops. No major noise from the station can be heard, so it is nice and quiet for sleeping at night. The double room has plenty of space for storing luggage and moving around. There is also air conditioning, which is amazing during hot summer days. The staff is willing to help with anything they can, and you can speak English without any problems. If you are traveling abroad for the first time and arranging accommodation, the staff will explain everything clearly and do their absolute maximum for your comfort. I can highly recommend Hotel Alfa. We found Hotel Alfa at the last minute. We originally had a reservation at another hotel, which told us on the day of our arrival that they did not have our paid booking in their system, that it was our problem and they showed zero effort to help us resolve it. At the last second, we found Hotel Alfa. I described our situation to the staff—that we had nowhere to sleep. They took the situation very seriously, and within a few minutes, we agreed on the accommodation, price, and our arrival time. They even told

The most wonderful, charming stay! An easy walk from the main train station in Munich, and the most kind staff to take care of every need for my mom and myself. I would recommend to anyone traveling through/to Munich. A wonderful and authentic Bavarian breakfast too! What an awesome experience. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Anton was able to squeeze 21 of us in on an unexpected change of plans. Not only was the process super quick + smooth but the rooms were very nice too. They even include air conditioning!! Breakfast was much better than any hotel/youth hostel that I’ve stayed at in Germany so far. The location of the hotel was also super helpful as it’s near a train/subway station making it easier to get around. Anton was also able to get our subway tickets for us so it was less of a hassle! I definitely recommend coming here as the experience was overall amazing.

We were on a school trip and accidentally booked a hostel for the wrong date. In a panic, we called this place. They were very accommodating, understanding and helpful. It ended up being a huge upgrade (AC, great breakfast, room was nice). Highly recommend!
