Twanie offered water to our dogs - not 1 bowl for both dogs but 1 bowl for each of the dogs!!!! Rooms are large, very clean and very cosy! Best hotel we ever set foot! Many thanks!

My wife and I stayed here during a weekend trip to visit family and friends. We were looking for a budget-friendly hotel where we could prepare our own breakfast, and Rioca was ideal. The room featured a compact kitchenette equipped with essential cooking utensils. The location is excellent—just a 15-minute S-Bahn ride from Munich Hbf and a 2-minute walk from the Siemenswerke station. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room, shower, and toilet. There was a minor communication mix-up regarding daily room service—we requested not to have our room cleaned on the second day, but due to a language barrier at reception, they serviced it anyway. Overall, it is a great hotel, and we would gladly stay here again. Don't forget to visit the terrace on the 7th floor—it offers fantastic views of Munich!

I had a really pleasant stay at the hotel. The hotel itself is comfortable, well-kept, and offers everything you would expect from a good place to stay. But honestly, what truly made the difference for me were Matias and Orlando. They were both incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can really feel when someone is simply doing their job and when someone truly cares about the guests and the experience they provide. Matias and Orlando definitely belong to the second category. Their attitude, professionalism, and genuine warmth made the hotel stand out in a way that many other hotels simply don’t. A hotel can have beautiful rooms and great facilities, but it’s the people who can completely change the experience — and these two do exactly that. If the management is reading this, I hope they know how valuable employees like Matias and Orlanda are. They are a real asset to the hotel and, in my opinion, one of the main reasons this place feels different from an ordinary hotel. They don’t just represent the hotel — they elevate it. Thank you both for making my stay even better. You are truly appreciated!
