Sehr schöne alte Katholische Kirche

What a wonderful little church with an eventful past! Together with #Littlefeet, we took a little peek inside. Apart from the damp walls in the entrance area, it has to be said that the church welcomes visitors with a special warmth. Unfortunately, we couldn't go inside as there is a barred door after the vestibule, which was closed. Outside, we noticed that there was a cross commemorating those who died during the coronavirus pandemic. A gesture that you really rarely see. We recommend this place to you, also because the cemetery is directly adjacent and it is a little quieter than outside on Flurstrasse or Kirchenstrasse. And who knows, maybe you'll be lucky enough to get in. Good luck!

Herrliche Kirche die ihren Ursprung im 9. Jhd. hat. Die teils bewegte Geschichte der Kirche sowie die Denkmäler an u.a. mehrere tödliche Cholera Ausbrüche regen zum Nachdenken an. Absolut sehenswert.

Во всех путешествиях меня как всегда тянет на погост. Очень красивая церковка с кладбищем. Есть туалет, которым не примянули воспользоваться. Гремели по улицам чемоданами. Проводили время между пересадками на поезд.

Die alte Haidhauser Kirche ist ein kleines Schmuckstück im Herzen von Haidhausen. Wer hierher findet kann im kleinen Kreis einen Gottesdienst miterleben. Man kann aber auch einfach nur in der Kirche sitzen und in aller Stille beten. LG Tjf63
