München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Unfortunately, this was the worst hotel of our two-week vacation. The room was much smaller than expected, but the biggest issue was the lack of comfort. It felt like the hotel was trying to save water by significantly reducing the shower water pressure, which made taking a shower frustrating. The air conditioning was another major disappointment. The control panel showed it was running at maximum power, but only a very weak airflow came out. The room stayed warm throughout the night, making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep. It was honestly the hardest night of our trip because of the heat. Overall, I expected much better from a hotel in this category. I would not choose to stay here again unless these issues are addressed.

The two main problems with this hotel are that it is old and the breakfast is bad. Usually, when I see hotel affiliations like "by Wyndham" or "by Hilton," they are worth the price, but this hotel deserves only one star. Upon entering the room and washing my hands, I found that the sink drain was stuck shut. No matter how hard I pulled the lever, it wouldn't open, so I had to scoop the water out with a paper cup and pour it into the toilet. I finally solved the problem the next morning by prying the drain open with a bottle opener. I can't believe the housekeeping staff left the sink in such a state. Also, the faucet is way too short, causing water to splash everywhere when you wash your hands, and water leaks out heavily from the shower door, spreading a meter across the floor. To top it off, the toilet flush stopped working in the morning, and I had to ask my friends if I could use their bathroom. The leather on the chairs was cracked, and the Wi-Fi was very slow. Now, moving on to breakfast: it was terrible. The dining area is large with plenty of space, but the selection is very poor. None of the available food tasted good—it felt as though it was prepared with outdated ing

Large family studio with 2 bathrooms. Clean, had an elevator, kettle and fridge in room (no other utilities). It's not that easy to get to from the airport. There are some buses out front and probably 10 mins walk to the tram. It was a quieter area which was nice and a supermarket etc next door.

Not a 4 star hotel standard in my humble opinion. Air condition broken, instead heating turned on. Reception was not able to help, switch rooms or similar. Technical service neither. Manager (on duty) was not available to discuss anything or solve the problem. Coffee cup dirty. Floor dirty. See Fotos. No daily room service. Breakfast regular - good. Probably worst hotel experience since a long time ...

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was sufficiently unacceptable that I feel other guests should be aware. After returning to my room at the end of the day, I discovered that the toilet had been blocked with waste that had originally been placed in the room bin. The situation appeared to have resulted from the cleaning service itself. More concerning still, the toilet had been left in that condition without notification, with the lid and seat both raised, strongly suggesting the issue had been noticed and simply ignored. When I approached reception, I was effectively asked whether spending the entire night with a blocked and unusable toilet would “be a problem”. I still struggle to understand how such a question can be considered remotely appropriate in any professional hospitality environment. A guest should never be placed in the humiliating position of having to justify why access to a functioning toilet overnight might matter. What followed was equally disappointing: a generic apology email focused more on a previously reported shower holder than on the far more serious hygiene and dignity issue caused by the hotel itself.
