Star G Hotel München Schwabing

The staff was very nice and welcoming, but unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. Because of a concert in the city, the rooms were heavily overpriced. The room was not clean, and the AC didn't work. Since our room got direct sunlight almost all day, it became incredibly hot. Even with the curtains closed, it was impossible to cool the room down.

Paid 520 euros for 2 nights, room had 2 king sized beds. Reception staff are very nice, no bar though. You have to go across the street to it's sister hotel for a drink

Almost everything was really good. Breakfast, rooms. I only have one complaint about that, there wasn't any ventilation in the bathroom resulting in a bad smell. There is also a restaurant next door by the hotel in the same building as where the breakfast is served. It is nothing special with ok food and price. It is open until late at around 1 am. I would probably put 4 or even 5 stars BUT because of an incident I think it deserves only 2 or 2.5 stars. Some people who where with our group had a security guard enter their room without even knocking or asking. They just heard a beep and their room door opened and he went inside. I was informed that they were a little loud but this is still unacceptable. He should at least knock and certainly not enter untill he got permission. We did complain and they say that it wouldn't happen again, which it didn't, but the fact that we had to complain for this to not happen is unacceptable. I am inclined to not stay there ever again.

3 stars because the room was amazing but not enough for 4 people , not enough chargers and trash bins . But I really dispice the people working in thw Hotel , I was with my school and our teacher booked rooms in the same floor so we are all close together ! Well another school was there and they couldnt book the rooms in the same floor and they didnt understand how difficult it is to look after 30 students !!! My teacher and the receptionist, were arguing for a lot of time ! Also during the night , some of my classmates room's were raided by the security for complaints!!! They didnt even asked permission to enter they just used a card and entered !!!!! Omg huge RED FLAG , that was not necessary and Ok I get it they did some noise but come on thats a violation to human rights . The location is not the best but its good for the price its about 20 mins from the city centre
