München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

If you want to get away from the city noise and escape the heat on summer days by a small lake, this is definitely the perfect place.

Beautiful and big park. There is a lake in the middle of the park. A lot of trees but they are quite small. Good place for outdoor activities.

Lovely park developed from disused airfield. Mostly flat although they do have some hills. Wooded areas and a lake for swimming and waters ports. Kiosk and toilets near the lake and a shopping mall not far away. Convenient transport links. Psrkrun on a Saturday

Reimer park is laid on a former Airport. In 2024/ Late décember. Freezing fog transformed the artificial Lake which resonates when Frozen, try bouncing a pebble on it, the harmonics are eery.

This is the most horrific park in Southern Germany! Why didn't they build an exact replica of the Olympiapark instead of this monstrosity? All the paths are straight lines for miles and are angled in precise angles when they cross. There is hardly any shade along the walking paths through the park or on the hill towering over the lake. No shade anywhere! As can be seen on my pictures all garbage bins were overflowing with plenty of disgusting garbage that attracted the wasps. The materials chosen -concrete, large slabs of grey stone- would nicely fit into one of the brutalist buildings erected between 1933-1945 but they contradict anything that is free flowing nature. As a result thew park hardly gets used ... and the large concrete slabs seem to crying to be covered by washed out, dirty graffiti.
