München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I visited here in the middle of July. It is a beautiful park with open fields and wooded areas. It is very easy to walk around as its flat and theres plenty of shade. There are many points of interest throughout the grounds. There are many animals including geese and swans. Walking along the canal is very peaceful.

Really beatiful place. The rooms that you can visit are enough to not get tired. The gardens are huge and stunning. Be careful of the duck poop😀

It’s relative less amounts of displaying rooms to Residenz museum. But the park was spacious.

The palace is immense, the gardens even more so. I went in winter and despite the lack of color, the walk is very long and relaxing. (It must be a dream in spring.) You can see ducks, swans, and people enjoying the scenery.

Huge sprawling grounds to wander and enjoy. Interior of the palace is beautiful and 100% worth your time to visit! While you're here, check out the carriage and porcelain museums as well, just buy the combo ticket and go to all three. Be sure to set aside at least two hours to explore this entire site.
