München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

I mean the rooms are a bit dirty and no one cleaned the rooms for us but that is on us since we were not aware that we need to inform them to clean the rooms. The location was great for us so I cannot complain too much. Feedback for the management: It would be great if you can also have fridges in the rooms.

Location is great, but the hotel as a whole was a let-down. We paid for a room advertised as having air conditioning, but there was no AC in the room. There were also extra charges for parking (per day, with no guest discount), room cleaning, breakfast, and even a cup of hot water. With no kettle or fridge in the room, it all felt a bit nickel-and-dime. The shower head was in need of a thorough clean, and there was black mould on the shower floor. The rooms are not soundproofed. You can hear conversations, lift movements, and doors slamming. Even on the third floor, leaving the window open meant hearing people outside, and cigarette smoke drifted into the room. That said, the room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and the blackout blind was appreciated. Staff were all lovely, shout out to Lin on the front desk! Breakfast offered a good variety, but at €16 per person, it didn’t feel like good value. No bar / restaurant, only a small very expensive shop; for example if you bought noodles, you’d still have to pay for hot water on top of that. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.
