München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Bed Bugs, Mold & cold coffee. Worst stay ever. We have stayed in many hostels in Central America that were 100% cleaner than this hotel. The should be closed down. My hubby and me woke up covered in bites from bed bugs!!!

This place is more disgusting than a rundown hostel and probably a borderline biohazard with mould growing everywhere. This is because they’ve tin foiled the vents in the bathrooms so there’s zero ventilation to get rid of the moisture. They falsely advertised multiple services that when asked, they do not provide. The rooms absolutely smell horrid because of the dirt and mould in the rooms, our window hinge was broken and could’ve fallen on us while we slept and the staff both mornings at breakfast were too busy on their phones and shoed us away for 45 minutes the first morning and 30 minutes the second when we tried to address some of the issues. They list laundry service on their website and we specifically booked this place because of it. When we asked staff about this they said that’s not a service they provide so we had to take half a day out of our short trip to do it ourselves (which was very far). They also don’t provide hairdryers which was quite problematic in the middle of winter. They refused to offer a refund through our travel agency as they “didnt hear anything about the complaint” which they’ve lied once again to add to their other list of lies on the website. Just
