Terrible night. This was the most disappointing place I’ve ever stayed. First, Booking.com showed us a room in the listing that we never received. Second, their support never responded — we waited on the phone for 15 minutes and no one answered. Late, the staff offered us another room, but the corridor was noisy and someone even tried to open our door at 2AM. After that, I couldn’t sleep at all. Because of this experience, I no longer trust Booking.com to stand behind their reservations

I was initially alarmed when I saw the reviews about bedbugs. Also because I couldn't cancel the booking and received little response via email when I expressed my concerns. However, once there, the owner was very friendly and also honest about previous problems. There were no problems in room 13. Only the smell of smoke from before the smoking ban. The double glazing reasonably insulates the noise from the busy street and café. But for fresh air with the window open, it's best to bring earplugs and a sleeping mask. The location is ideal next to the station and the price is much more reasonable around the Oktoberfest period than other accommodations. If you know this in advance you can have realistic expectations: it is more like a hostel with shared toilets and showers, but they are certainly clean and hygienic. The same goes for the bed linen and towels. Free coffee and tea are available.

GO ANYWHERE ELSE. We stayed here for one night in early October. When we woke up there were so many bedbugs. We had checked when we arrived but the climbed down the walls. We rushed out and were able to get the last room at the Ibis down the street and do laundry after a day at Oktoberfest. We stayed in room 4 down the hall from reception. The price may be enticing, but I promise you’ll be much more pleased staying elsewhere. The Ibis was very recommendable actually! Please do not stay here.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. Upon checking in, we discovered bed bugs in the room, posing a significant health hazard. Naturally, we could not stay under such conditions. Despite this, the hotel refused to issue a refund or provide any meaningful resolution to the situation. This lack of concern for guest health and customer service is unacceptable. Traveling should be a safe and enjoyable experience, but this hotel failed to meet even the most basic standards. I strongly advise others to avoid staying here.
