About MEININGER Hotel München Olympiapark

Located at Landshuter Allee 174, 80637 München-Neuhausen-Nymphenburg, MEININGER Hotel München Olympiapark operates as a hotel serving München in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as hostel, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.

Opening hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in München keep standard hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on the weekly Ruhetag, on Sundays and over the Christmas and Easter holidays. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. More information is available on its website, meininger-hotels.com.

With 3.7 out of 5 on Google from 3,585 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for hotels in München. German customers tend to review sparingly and critically, so a mid-range score with detailed comments is often a fair picture.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Our experience at the hotel has not been very pleasant. We came in July, and the room faces south, so it gets sun all day; since there is no air conditioning in the room, the temperature was practically unbearable. The ventilation is shared and was not turned on. The window was broken and couldn’t even be opened. The beds are hard, the pillows are soft, and they are not properly covered, which makes previous stains visible. Water is sold at an excessive price, so when you combine the sauna-like conditions of the room with the high cost of something as basic as water, it feels like guests are treated as enemies. The light for the room is located right next to the bathroom, while the bathroom light switch is inside the bathroom itself, so at night you get the experience of being interrogated without warning. If you’re photosensitive, you’ll understand the fear. The staff was polite, although they couldn’t do anything to improve our comfort. I cannot recommend it.

We stayed 4 days. The hotel is well connected and it is located in a nice area. Unfortunally the cleaning of the room is made only after a request but nobody told us this rule when we checked in at the arrival.. and when finally we asked the to clean our room, to change the sheets and the towels, they didn t come either. I was really disappointrled about since I was in vacation with 3 kids (5,4 year s old and a new born).

Amazing hotel we were only one night but I wish we were more than one night. Rooms are amazing modern and clean and receptionist is nice and polite. Location is awesome its near center and tram (tram is silent so you cant hear it from room). Great, I would definitely recomend it and come back.

In general i liked our stay. Room was great an quiet. I've booked breakfast and changed to a lunch-pack: didnt get any refund and content of the bags were just a water+apple+toast bread with a slice of cheese. Quite disappointing for the price it costs in my opinion.
