Loved the hair exhibit although 20 euros seems steep. Perfect way to wait out the rain.

The Kunsthalle der Hypo-Kulturstiftung, located in the heart of Munich’s Fünf Höfe, has been a cornerstone of the city’s art scene since 1985. Established by the Hypo-Kulturstiftung, it is uniquely known as a "temporary" museum without its own permanent collection. Instead, it hosts world-class rotating exhibitions ranging from ancient civilizations to contemporary fashion and photography. The venue itself, redesigned by Herzog & de Meuron in 2001, is an architectural marvel, blending modern industrial aesthetics with the historic fabric of the city center. Whether showcasing Dutch masters or high-fashion retrospectives, the curation is always impeccable. Walking through its sleek, flexible galleries, I felt a refreshing sense of dynamism. Unlike traditional museums, the Kunsthalle feels like a living, breathing dialogue with global culture. Standing amidst such diverse beauty, I left with a renewed perspective on the fluidity of art—reminding me that history is not a static relic, but a continuous, evolving story that we are all part of.

Interesting place to visit, the tickets for the museum are a bit expensive even for students, but if you are into art, the exhibition was really interesting, with items all over the world, explained also in English. The exhibition is limited edition, they change it, also look out if you are interested in the topic at that moment. The entrance is a bit tricky to visit the museum, also there are a lot of shops in that building.

Interesting exhibition showcasing Miguel Chevalier's digital artwork across a single floor (but a large exhibit). I found the museum itself quite well organised and straightforward albeit a bit expensive, and found the exhibition intriguing and engaging. For the price I paid, I was expecting a bit more than I got - as we were in and out within about half hour (I couldn't see the exhibit lasting more than an hour).
