For a night out or a family day in München, venues like this one are best checked for opening times and events on the day itself, since programmes change. The season matters: beer gardens open from April into October, Christmas markets run through Advent, and open-air cinemas and festivals fill the summer. U-Bahn and S-Bahn services run through the night at weekends in the big cities, with night buses elsewhere, so plan the trip home.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Even though I’m not a Bayern Munich supporter and I’m not really into football, I was in Munich and thought it would be a great opportunity to visit a stadium museum for the first time. Honestly, it turned out to be a really enjoyable experience. It only takes about 30 minutes to go through, but it’s well worth it. I enjoyed seeing the trophies and learning about the history of football, not just the history of Bayern Munich. Thank you, Bayern Munich, for such a great experience.

Very interesting and informative museum show casing Bayern Munichs history. Lots of trophies and interactive games . Shop at the end was very busy lots of merchandise . Adult Bayern shirts around €100 . Paid for stadium tour as well costing €25 for both. It is quite a walk from the tram stop to the ground about 25 minutes then you have to walk almost half way round the stadium and up steep stairs to get to the museum and tour start

The FC Bayern Museum is an absolutely breathtaking experience and a spectacular journey through the glorious history of one of the world’s most successful football clubs. Walking through the brilliantly curated exhibits is deeply impressive, capturing the absolute essence of sporting greatness. The sheer volume of gleaming trophies, from countless Bundesliga shields to the prestigious Champions League cups, is beautifully displayed and serves as a powerful testament to the club's relentless winning mentality and decades of European dominance. One of the most profound and fascinating aspects of the museum is the beautiful tribute to the legendary Franz Beckenbauer. 'Der Kaiser' shaped the very DNA of FC Bayern, and seeing his immense contributions, visionary leadership, and unmatched elegance on the pitch honored so respectfully is truly a highlight. The museum flawlessly captures the deep emotion and hard work behind every major victory and historic milestone. With its engaging interactive displays and cinematic presentations, you can truly feel the passion of the game. It is a world-class museum that flawlessly honors football royalty. A phenomenal, five-star experience!

A must-visit for not just Bayern fans but football fans in general! Went for the matchday experience and it didn't disappoint! Exhibits have both German and English, but special events are conducted in German
