When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.

With 4.0 out of 5 on Google from 105 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for sehenswürdigkeiten & wahrzeichen in München. German customers tend to review sparingly and critically, so a mid-range score with detailed comments is often a fair picture.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Not sure what's the meaning of this big orange circle. Maybe it's calling all the homeless folks of Munich to come gather here and stay in this public park for the night.

Nice park to walk through or sit and eat take away food. The fountain was empty on the day we visited.

The red ring is designed by Italian artist Mauro Staccioli. It’s a public art piece located next to the old botanical gardens. It’s erected in 1996. Mostly people don’t know about it. They just pass by, get photo. Wish they can stay and read about it.

There's a large circular monument at this square, which immediately catches the attention of the passerby. The square itself is sunlit, busy and noisy, with all the people, cars, buses, and trams going around. But there's a park nearby and some tables for tennis. The benches are usually occupied or too hot/cold to sit on.

I couldn’t find any information about this art but it is really huge and symmetrical, nice scene for taking picture, it is located 10 mins far if you walk from hauptbahnhof munich. There are also some seats available to sit and enjoy the time in front.
