Its Google rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 1,540 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect before you commit to a visit.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

I have had an opportunity to stay in the INNSiDE during the heatwave when the air conditioning was broken... Otherwise it's a nice place to stay with wonderful staff and very tasty breakfast. One of the best traits is that the hotel is just next to the Highlight Towers so it is really good choice if someone is working there.

Thanks to the recent renovation, this hotel has very high quality rooms and great amenities. The rooms are spacious, with an amazing window front. Minibar options and the welcoming snacks that were provided were great! By foot, the hotel is only about 5 minutes from the nearest subway station and about 4 min from the next tram station, which I found very convenient. The parking garage is also very clean, with reasonable prices compared to some other hotels I’ve been to. The hotel’s staff also has been very nice and very competent.

Stayed for 1 night at the end of a long road trip. The welcome from the receptionist (a Greek man, forgot his name!) was very friendly, he was happy to share recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Check in was quick and efficient. The rooms are a bit worn, but very functional and quite spacious, and perfectly clean. Unfortunately, as some other reviews mention, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. The mattress was lumpy and hard, and you can feel the springs through it. We did not find a do not disturb sign in the room, so we were woken up at 8am by housekeeping. We were checking out that morning, in virtually every other hotel I’ve stayed in housekeeping is usually done after departure for rooms checking out that day? Great location in a quiet area (next to offices of many tech companies) - it is close to the U6 which means you can get to Marienplatz in about 10 minutes. There is plenty of on street parking nearby - at least at the weekend - and there is an underground car park available for €29 a night. Overall, the hotel provides great value for money and a convenient location, but I can only hope that the mattresses will be upgraded.
