München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The hotel was okay overall, but there were a few issues during our stay. We were traveling with our dog, and this was included in our booking. However, nowhere during the booking process or on the hotel’s website did it mention that guests with dogs would be assigned an accessible room. Had we known this beforehand, we would most likely have chosen a different hotel, as it wasn’t the type of room we expected when making the reservation. It was also a bit uncomfortable sleeping in a bed with an emergency call button mounted right above the pillow. There were several other emergency buttons throughout the room as well. I completely understand why these features are necessary in accessible rooms, but since we were simply traveling with our dog, it just made us worry about accidentally pressing one of them. In addition, the shower drain in the first room was clogged, causing the bathroom to flood while we were showering, so we had to change rooms. The shower worked in the second room, but the bathroom sink faucet wasn’t properly secured and moved whenever you adjusted the water temperature. Overall, there were quite a few small issues throughout our stay. That said, the hotel was r

A perfect stay in every way. The location is incredibly convenient, with a tram stop right in front of the hotel that takes you to the city center in just 20 minutes. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, with truly comfortable beds and a fabulous shower. The staff is helpful and friendly. Excellent value for money. Recommended!

A perfectly good stay at a budget hotel for a reasonable price. Check-in staff were friendly and had honoured my room request. The room was clean but quite small, though in my experience this is normal for an Ibis. Good soundproofing between rooms made for a quiet night. I'm not sure whether the aircon was working though, or if it was it was very weak, meaning I had to sleep with windows open - this could be an issue for some people with the road noise. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. All in all its a well located budget hotel, close to Donnersbergerbrücke Station which is serviced by the airport train.
