I should of done more research prior to booking this hotel. Unfortunately a hotel without air conditioning in the midst of an European heatwave wasn’t pleasant. Breakfast was quite expensive at 18€ per a person, parking was difficult, and leaving the windows open at night to try and cool down resulted in much noise from nearby restaurants and ambulances driving by. However, the beds were comfy, water pressure in the shower was great, and the staff was super lovely.

Hotel is great, rooms are clean and family friendly. Unfortunately stayed during a heat wave, fans only in the rooms. Otherwise very nice stay. Restaurant (beergarten) we found some of the staff very rude, even though we spoke the language (they could tell we weren't from there) and treated us like second class citizens... not impressed. Do yourself a favor and visit the Greek restaurant Dionysos instead where you'll definitely feel more welcome.

Okay this place was SO cute. We stayed in the corner room with lots of windows which I loved and was necessary for ventilation since there’s no AC. Even in August the windows were enough to keep us cool though. The location is a little outside downtown but the neighborhood was so cute that I actually loved being able to get away from all the hustle and people downtown. There’s a park close by to stroll through and lots of trails along the little river that runs through the back. The staff was so kind and generous. They allowed us to drop our bags while we waited for check in, and then let us check in early after a long travel day which was so appreciated. The restaurant outside is also a great add- one of the best meals we had! All in all- I’d gladly stay here again if I’m ever back in Munich!
