München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

I liked the overall ambience of the hotel. The reception staff is very friendly and provides necessary assistance. The rooms were adequately spacious and had all the necessary amenities. I would also suggest reserving the breakfast option. And the lounge in the evening offers a wide range of Gins from all over the world and other drinks.

Pleasant space with friendly staff. The room was on the smaller side but big enough. The whole hotel is heavily Munich themed. Lots of effort went into that. Not really my thing but I can appreciate it. My room had a kind of patio with chairs to relax in. That was surprising to find on the second floor but very welcome. I wish the breakfast had a bit of warm stuff like pancakes available but that's my only "complaint"
