Located at Rosenheimer Str. 110, 81669 München, Hotel Motel One München-Haidhausen operates as a hotel serving München in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

I rarely write reviews though the team here deserves some recognition. Too often these days front desk service values efficiency over friendliness. Not here. The team are efficient but couldn’t do enough to help. From printing OBB tickets to local restaurant recommendations, help understanding public transport and the best bars in the local area, they couldn’t have done more to help me out. I particular Blanka from the Front Desk team. Just wonderful.

We arrived in Munich after midnight and didn’t know where to go, at the train station luckily we asked somebody for help who happened to be an employee- Mustafa. He took time out of his day, he also had a train to catch, to take us to the front of osbahnhof and direct us to the hotel. Made us feel immediately welcome even though he wasn’t on shift! The hotel is clean and well presented with nice decor in the lobby and bar.

Motel One lives up to its usual standards with a reliable and comfortable stay. We had a small room on ground level for a short layover, but it was surprisingly quiet and perfectly sufficient. The staff was very friendly, making the experience smooth and pleasant. A solid choice for short stays.

The room has no fridge, so I put 120eur worth of cheese in wax wheels next to the window/balcony door. Forgot about it during checkout and called a few hours later to pick it up. They disappeared?! So basically the guest or the housekeeping stole it. Thank you very much. Never again will I stay here.
