When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.

No opening hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times, and remember that most shops in Germany close on Sundays and public holidays. The listed phone number is 089 59976490. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, motel-one.com.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 1,781 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded hotels in München.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Decent hotel. Very small breakfast. Not fully equipped with business hotel amenities, especially toiletries.

I stayed at this hotel expecting to have a comfortable and relaxing experience, but unfortunately that was not the case. First of all, the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. As a guest, you expect to rest well in a hotel, but instead I felt even more tired and physically uncomfortable after sleeping there. A comfortable bed is one of the most important aspects of any stay, and this was quite disappointing. Secondly, the reception staff were not friendly and their attitude was not welcoming. As a guest, you hope to feel respected and warmly received, but the interaction felt cold and unprofessional. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves these aspects for future guests.

Had a wonderful time here! Staff is friendly and genuinely makes the stay pleasant. Location is easily reachable.

Very small rooms, but clean. Close to many public transport connections and within walking distance of some nice restaurants. If you come by car, the hotel has an underground parking, but limited at 1.95m height and the hotel is located inside Munich low emission zone and you need a green sticker for your car even if it meets the green emission requirements.
