München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We had a wonderful stay at Lux Hotel in Munich. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city, making it very convenient to explore nearby attractions. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We arrived late for check-in, and it was a unique and pleasant experience entering through the restaurant next door, which is directly connected to the hotel. The restaurant itself was also very nice, with a great atmosphere. I really loved the style of the rooms, they felt modern, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. Housekeeping was consistent, and the rooms were cleaned daily, which we appreciated. The only small downside was the lack of a kettle for hot water. Since I was traveling with a baby, having one in the room would have been very helpful. That said, there is a coffee machine available, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel for its location, design, and friendly service.

We really enjoyed staying at this adorable hotel! The rooms were comfortable and the staff was super helpful. It was in an amazing area - perfect spot! So easy to get to everywhere. The only down side is there is no elevator- which wasn’t a problem for us. Yasin was super helpful and friendly. We had a great stay! Definitely recommend!
