Travel businesses in München serve both domestic and international visitors. Compare the rate here with the property's own website before you commit, check the cancellation terms and keep a copy of your booking. No opening hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times, and remember that most shops in Germany close on Sundays and public holidays. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its Google rating stands at 3.4 out of 5 from 289 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Modest but clean rooms. Reasonable price/comfort ratio. Everything you need is available.

I cannot say much about the structure itself, but I tried to ask some info by telephone. The person I spoke with did not speak English (I understand it is not mandatory to speak English, but if you work in an hotel it sorta is), I tried my best in German and the person was the opposite of accommodating, they really did not want one more client for some reason.

I needed an affordable hotel not far from the centre of Munich. It was clean and easy to get to. It was quiet. No extras but that was ok - there’s a bakery and cafe just up the road.

The rooms smelled gross, the shower drain is clearly clogged as it would very easily overflow, the overall vibe of the room was meh and the lock on our door was ancient. Generally not really a hotel that is in any way shape or form aesthetically pleasing but it was cheap and close to the center and we only stayed for a night so can’t complain too much. The rooms are incredibly noisy though so beware if you are a light sleeper (because we were very unlucky with our neighbours)
