München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

A hotel room has one job: provide a place where guests can sleep. This hotel failed at the most basic level. I spent the night in what felt like an oven. The thermostat was set to the coldest setting, the fan was on high, yet the unit did nothing more than circulate warm air. The room never cooled. There were no windows that could be opened enough to provide meaningful ventilation, turning the room into a heat trap. The real frustration came after 11:00 PM, when the front desk closed. By the time it was obvious the air conditioning wasn't working, there was no one available to help, no room change, no maintenance, and no after-hours support. I was simply left to endure it. Sleep is the product hotels sell. Everything else is secondary. If guests cannot sleep because the room is unbearably hot, the hotel has failed to deliver the one service people are paying for. If you're traveling during warm weather, think twice before booking here. I certainly won't make the same mistake again.

Everything perfect, except bathroom too tight. Very spacious room, located next to main attractions and train central. Definitely on my list if i return to Munich
