About Hotel Blutenburg
Located at Verdistraße 130, 81247 München, Hotel Blutenburg operates as a hotel serving München in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under bed and breakfast, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.
Opening hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in München keep standard hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on the weekly Ruhetag, on Sundays and over the Christmas and Easter holidays. The listed phone number is 089 8912420. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is hotel-blutenburg.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 234 reviews, which is a strong result for a hotel in München and suggests consistent service.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

If you manage to book a room for under €80 per night, it's okay. It won't be particularly nice or spotlessly clean, the bed isn't the most comfortable, nor are the sheets perfectly crisp, and the TVs don't offer any Smart TV options. You won't find air conditioning or an elevator to the garage, but there is an underground garage, which is appreciated, as there's almost no parking in the area. The staff is very friendly – although we didn't encounter them once, the introductory email was very detailed and helpful. The housekeeping was a bit more difficult – after the first night, we asked for a change of towels in one of the rooms, and our request was ignored. The roof structure and thermal insulation are good – despite the heat, the room was bearable, even in the attic. The neighborhood is noisy – the building is right on a four-lane road, and opening the window makes it difficult to sleep. Bring your own pillows and enjoy the low price.

We checked into the hotel through a self check-in system, entering both the building and the room with a code, which was quite convenient. The rooms were as shown in the photos and had a private bathroom and shower. There was also a kettle in the room, along with complimentary Haribo, tea, and coffee, which was a nice touch. The room cleanliness was generally sufficient, although the bathroom and especially the shower were not cleaned to the same standard. In terms of temperature, the room was fine since the weather was not very cold, but the radiators did not seem to heat properly even when turned up to the highest setting. The biggest downside for us was definitely the bed and pillows, both of which were extremely uncomfortable. That honestly overshadowed our overall experience, especially because we mainly booked the hotel just for a place to sleep. There is free parking available, but only for two cars, so I would recommend confirming availability with the hotel before arrival. For a short stay, it may still be an acceptable option considering we paid EUR 70 per night, but I am quite sure there are better alternatives at this price point.

family vacation w/ wife and kids. got a a very run-down apartment with practically no furniture. the beds were lined with plastic undersheets, the pillows were horrible so we slept so bad we wanted to check out after the first night. we had paid for 2 nights in advance and the didn't accept a cancellation so we ended up paying for 2 nights even if we could stay for just 1. the management was not present at any time (only by phone), and I kinda felt sorry for the staff that our frustration was pouring upon. avoid.
