When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.
Opening hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in München keep standard hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on the weekly Ruhetag, on Sundays and over the Christmas and Easter holidays. The listed phone number is 089 59993904. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its Google rating stands at 3.2 out of 5 from 1,043 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

The best thing about this place is the location and that‘s probably it. Rooms are so uncomfortable, especially in the summer, situated directly under the sunlight it gets hotter inside than outside. All things said the Check in and check out personel were great and friendly, no rudeness or similar reported from other people. Room being overheated we thought it would be great idea to sleep with open window, as we were on the 5th floor. Well 3 in the night my fiancee woke me up scared as there were 3 people wandering around the fire escape of the building and we had to close the window in order to be able to feel safe. As if it was not enough the room temperature rose and sleeping felt quite uncomfortable. The check out at reception did just apologise for thin walls and couldn’t really empathise. So please stay aware when you stay in this hotel would be my verdict and never in the summer.

Great service, fantastic location, basic rooms but you get what you pay for, the end of the day im of the view you dont come somewhere to spend all day in thw room as long as it has running water, a bed then thats all you need everything else is a bonus.

Very barebones place. Unbelievably noisy from ambulance/police sirens, as well as people walking from bars next door, and the bells from the steeple nearby. We are used to noise (I live above a bar back home) and slept horribly even with white noise blasting full volume. Also no A/C, wonky shower designs, uncomfy beds, awkward windows so very little airflow, and a shanty elevator. I would not stay here unless you absolutely cannot afford anywhere else. Lesson learned!
