München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Really nice hotel in a great location! There’s a supermarket and a tram stop right outside the hotel, making it super easy to get into central Munich and to the underground. Our room was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious, with a different selection each day. The staff were really friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. There’s underground parking for vehicles up to 2.4 m high, but you need to reserve a space when booking your room as there aren’t many spaces available. Even a larger SUV will fit without any problems. We parked our Disco 5 there with no issues at all. A great hotel at a really good price!

This hotel has some strong points, but the negatives significantly impacted our family stay. On the positive side, the location is fantastic with a tram stop right outside. It’s a great choice for families since they offer connecting rooms. Breakfast and parking are included in the price, and there’s a convenient supermarket just across the street. However, there were several major letdowns. Most importantly, we reported serious maintenance and privacy issues—a bathroom door that wouldn't close and a loose peephole that could be pulled out from the outside. We stayed for three days, and these issues were never addressed. Housekeeping was also a major disappointment. The supposedly "clean," newly changed bed sheets provided to us were covered in white flakes and lint, resembling shredded tissue paper, which also littered the carpet. The breakfast service also needs improvement. Weekday breakfast runs until 10:00 AM, but by 9:30 AM, the food was mostly gone and not replenished. Additionally, the butter provided was terrible—easily the worst I've tasted during my two weeks in Germany. The room doors don't have soft-close hinges; they slam loudly and cause vibrations through

The stay was almost perfect. The room was clean and spacious, breakfast tasty (though better selection of cold cuts and wider selection of breakfast options for vegans would be beneficial), staff was nice. The only issues I had was using of digital card in the elevator and invoice being sent with my personal data despite asking both at check in as well as check out for it to be issued on company data. It would also be good to have more shelfs in the room to take out clothes.

Love the digital key. The location was convenient. Starting with the front desk (and continuing into the breakfast room) all the staff were helpful and polite. I had two short stays here. Both rooms were perfectly clean and quiet. Breakfast was better than expected. It was nice to have green salad options there. The fitness room was clean and stocked with water snd towels. There is a rack of local information, available on small business cards. This was very convenient! Thank you to the genius who designed the showers. You don’t get sprayed with cold water when turning on the shower. The entry to the hotel is not obvious from the street. It is behind the round tower.
