München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

We’re an American family of 3. Overall good stay! 10 min walk to train station, 30 min train ride to Munich downtown tourist sites. This hotel is in a revitalized industrial area. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, along with a grocery store. We loved the large nearby Indian restaurant. It seems like we got a handicap accessible room, unless they are all like that. Large bathroom and a decent sized room (on the smaller side for America, large side for Europe). The bathroom did smell. Otherwise clean room with a kettle and some instant coffee. Not a bad spot at all.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I honestly wouldn't stay here again. The room looked nothing like what I expected. The walls were dirty and unfinished, there was nowhere to properly store luggage, and the whole room felt very bare-bones. The bathroom wasn't great either—the sink barely drained, the toilet struggled to flush, and the shower was right next to the toilet, which made the layout feel cramped. The biggest disappointment was the bed situation. We were told we'd have a queen bed and two twin beds, but the "queen" was actually just two twin beds pushed together. Nobody mentioned this beforehand. Sleeping on it was uncomfortable because there was a gap in the middle, and to make matters worse, the mattresses kept sliding around every time someone moved. The room was also incredibly hot. There was no air conditioning, and when I asked if a fan was available, staff couldn't provide one. Opening the window didn't help much because it only opened slightly, and the noise from the street made it difficult to relax or sleep. For the price we paid, I expected a much more comfortable and well-maintained room. Unfortunately, this stay fell short in several areas.

I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room felt poorly maintained, with unpainted and dirty walls. There was no closet or dedicated space to store luggage, which made the room inconvenient to use. The bathroom layout was awkward, with the shower located directly next to the toilet. The sink drained very slowly, and the toilet did not flush properly during my stay. The room was also very basic, and the window only opened slightly. There was no air conditioning, and the room became extremely hot, which made it difficult for me to sleep comfortably and gave me a headache. Overall, the facilities and maintenance did not meet my expectations, and I would not choose to stay here again.

I stayed three nights in a queen bed room and a fourth night in the twin. Both were a very similar layout - not incredibly huge, but enough space for one or two people especially if you don’t need to spend the whole day in your room. If you need to work, there’s a nice space to do so downstairs in the lobby. It was clean and minimalistic, and a great value for the price!! Convenient transit links to everywhere although maybe a little far to walk everywhere every day (30-45min to old town). Also, if you don’t get your room cleaned, they treat you to a free drink :D

An excellent value. The staff are always wonderful, young, internationally aware people. The rooms are small but stylish, clean, and functional. Only thing missing is a desk for work, but that's okay. €25 for underground parking is okay. Best thing are the huge assortment of clubs, restaurants, and cafes literally across the street. No excuse not to go out for fun.
