München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ We had an overall pleasant stay at Four Points by Sheraton Munich Arabellapark. Our King Room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. However, the Twin Room was noticeably smaller than expected. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help during our stay. Unfortunately, the hotel did not respond to any of my emails before arrival regarding special requests.
