München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

I highly recommend this no frills boutique hotel for families and couples and solo travellers. Rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. Shower pressure and heat were excellent. Hotel is in located perfectly for the train station and the centre of town. There is a super market close by and laundromat a few doors down. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

Stayed there last week at the 7th floor. Room was spacious with a big toilet. Had a bath tub too. Greeted by a friendly Alex and room was spacious and comfortable. Pillow was soft but overall with the good location close to stations and town, it’s a very good stay overall. A perfect start to our family’s vacation.
