München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

The hotel was nicely situated with lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The rooms were clean and there was A/C. The staff was very helpful and could speak English. Lastly the breakfast options were fine with salty and sweet options. Very nice stay !

A bit disappointed by this hotel. The room was ok and we had a nice balcony. But the light on the balcony was broken. The shower drain didn’t work well, so each time we took a shower, the entire bathroom flooded. The staff was rather unfriendly. A simple good morning was too much to ask. The breakfast was a mess. Not much of a choice and the coffee machine was dripping on the floor. On Sunday (marathon day) they didn’t serve early breakfast for the runners. Instead the served breakfast even 1 hour later then usual.

My experience was good for the most part. Two downsides: I had called the hotel prior to the journey to make sure that a parking space was actually available, which they confirmed. Upon arrival, there was a free spot in the backyard. On check-in however, I was asked whether I had booked a parking space and was informed that a spot was only available for one night at 12 €, but none for the second night, which was a bummer, because parking is a problem in most of Munich. Second, the room was not tidied up after our first night. One can relate, because we only stayed for two nights, but then it should not be advertised either in my opinion.

location is very good, a lot of Cafés, restaurants and small pubs are nearby. The room was nice, bed clean and mattress ok. The sideboard needed to be cleaned inside. bathroom quite new and modern, but a little dirty. The mirror was not clean, the wall next to the sink had small dirt stains. Breakfast had a good variety, coffee tasty. Staff in the breakfast room and at the reception was very friendly. Conclusion - a little too expensive for the category.
