So relaxing to walk around the gardens on a nice day. The greenhouse has many different rooms to explore and there are also many flowers to see in spring.

Very informative, deserve a visit. the red berry is very tasty. Reminds me a lot of my childhood.

This place is definitely worth a visit, especially from December to March. That's when there are butterflies. Besides that it isn't far from there to the Schloss Nymphenburg and the Museum of Man and Nature. That way it's possible to visit all three places in a single trip. As a local I would say, that the botanical garden in Munich should be a must-see for every tourist.

One of my all time favourite places. Very peaceful and beautiful. I've visited a few times now, at different times of the year, and it's always had an interesting floral display to offer in front of the picturesque main building which looks like a small stately home (the first time it was in spring and the flower beds were absolutely stunning, exploding with the colours of gerberas). It's a small park but really well laid out and beautifully tended by talented and dedicated staff. The greenhouses have more variety than those in Kew Gardens, and some have wildlife like frogs, terrapins and butterflies! I also like the mixed woodland area (watch for black squirrels) and the alpine hill. They've managed to fit so much into these gardens! I'd recommend at least two hours here.
