I paid higher rate for a room just to have no aircon or fan on a heatwave day. It’s an old room too. DO NOT BOOK ORIGINAL ROOMS. They are scams. If you book longer stay, you don’t get towel refresh unless you request a few days earlier. Their customer service staff and local staff teams aren’t in sync. I had a night without clean towel because they told me false information. Do not recommend at all. Avoid.

My stay at Hotel Bob W. Munich was overall disappointing, especially in terms of customer service and communication. The biggest issue was the complete reliance on an AI chatbot for all communication. The bot frequently switched unexpectedly to Dutch without explanation, making it nearly impossible to get clear answers. It felt less like customer service and more like a training exercise for AI – guests are treated as test subjects, not valued customers. I had booked breakfast via a voucher and expected to use it before 9:00 AM, as I’m a business traveler with a tight schedule. However, upon arrival, I was told breakfast only started at 9:00 AM – too late for me to use it, as I had already left the hotel. I requested a refund for the unused voucher, but was denied with the vague response: “our policy.” No flexibility, no empathy, no solution. Additionally, the phone support only operates in English, which is a major barrier for non-English speakers. While I could manage, it’s unacceptable for a hotel in Munich to lack multilingual support. Yes, the hotel is modern and well-located, and I understand that staff may not be on-site 24/7. Such a nice little studio ! It’s a really big pity that I have to write that because the appartement is perfect. But from 7 am there were extremely loud renovations. People screaming and speaking extremely loud. I am sorry but this should not happen that early in an Apparthotel. Otherwise there is no front desk, you’re basically interning a normal building. The informations of check in are pretty clear and everything easy but when I arrived my appartement was already open. I found the door halfway opened and I didn’t put the code to enter. That made me quite scared since I am a solo traveler woman. Well I hope they are more serious next time about this.

Loved the concept. The room itself is fine for the price. However we were not made aware that there are current renovations going on. At 8am we were woken up by the electric drills in the building. The non stop noise triggered the car alarms downstairs. I contacted the guest support immediately. As if 13:30 now there is no resolution. We have been sitting in construction noise for hours.

Overall, my hosting was average. The heating is weak, and in the bathroom it didn't work any day, towels get wet. Rubbing the shower area better would be good. The furniture is worn out. Some lamps burned. I found the location good (near the center, but you can't walk). The area around is just offices, there's not much to do around here. The mattress has no lining, I don't think it's hygienic. The small kitchen with coffee maker was useful, but it had no spoon and the frying pan was worn out, so the food sticks. The shower space is small. The armor is narrow, it does not fit the suitcase. Smart TV is good.
