München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The hotel has a good location even though it’s located outside the city centre, <5 min walk to the train station and with a Lidl and Edeka on either side of it. The rooms were clean, but there was only one pillow per person and it was too flat. Check in and check out were also very easy, and we were able to enter the room before our check in time. The staff were quite friendly as well. However, room service was lacking, and when we asked to have towels replaced and trash taken out, they came to do it ~24 hrs after we had asked for it, the morning of our check out. Also, there was a leak in the bathroom sink, and there was no access to a microwave/kettle/fridge. Overall, it’s a good hotel for a short stay

I stayed in the hotel with my family (wife and two kids) in June. The room was a little bit small but efficient. Kids stayed in the bunk and we stayed in the king size bed. The beds were comfy. The room was silent. Air condition was working fine. Bathroom was with good water pressure. Nothing to complain about the room except its size. Breakfast was good. Boiled egg, tomato, cucumber, 2 types of cheese, 4 types of salami, a few tapas, 3 types of jam, honey, fruits, yoghurt, coffee machine, toaster etc. all were fine. Reception was friendly. The hotel is 150 meters away from the metro station (WestendStrasse-U5). There are DM and Lidl stores just 30 meters away. Also, there is a very nice Italian Bistro Da Battista if you get hungry.

Good value for money and a pleasant stay overall. The hotel is conveniently located, with a supermarket and drugstore nearby, and the metro station is only a 3–5 minute walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the beds were especially comfortable. One point of confusion was the “family room.” It was advertised for three people, even though the room could comfortably accommodate four guests. In addition, during the hot weather we were unable to lower the air conditioning below 28°C, which made the room quite warm and uncomfortable at night. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning in the future.
