About B&B HOTEL München City-Ost

Located at Wasserburger Landstraße 49, 81825 München, B&B HOTEL München City-Ost operates as a hotel serving München in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under bed and breakfast, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.

No opening hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times, and remember that most shops in Germany close on Sundays and public holidays. The listed phone number is 06146 8153513. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, hotel-bb.com.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 1,636 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded hotels in München.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

The room was clean and comfortable for the price. It's not spacious, only enough space for sleeping and basic needs, no fridge, but good enough for a short touristic stay. I recommend booking with breakfasts, because it's much easier than cooking yourself in those conditions, and the breakfasts are pretty good. It's a buffet with a lot of variety - eggs, toasts, muesli, coffee and so on. I traveled with a cat and there were no problems staying in the room with her, the staff were very nice and supportive

Great for a 1-2 night road trip. Tip: book on the app! If you are looking for a quick 1-2 night stopover or a short road trip base to explore Munich, this hotel is a really good, budget-friendly choice. However, I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay like two weeks. Crucial tip: book directly through their app. If you book through third-party sites, the price can be up to three times higher. The self-service check-in terminal is really cool and easy to use. Also, don't waste 15 euros a day on the hotel parking. There is plenty of free parking available right on the street. Skip the hotel breakfast too, because there is a Penny supermarket right below the hotel, which is incredibly convenient. Unlike many hotels that just claim to be accessible, this one is genuinely wheelchair accessible, which was great to see. The main con was the cleanliness. I am very strict about cleanliness, and this was a bit of a letdown. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either, to the point where I didn't even want to use the shower. Overall, it's not perfect, but for a short stay and at the right price, it gets the job done. 70 out of 100.

We stopped here after a long journey before doing the last big driving day to go home. If you value yourself, DO NOT STAY HERE. If you’re a woman travelling alone, stay far away. The rooms are with a code. The type of man that go here are not men you want to see at night. The only reason they didn’t approach was because I was walking with a big dog. They turned around. If I didn’t have a big dog, I don’t wanna know what happened bc you will never open your room safely in time. Then let’s talk hygiene. The people cleaning and working in this hotel must not be afraid of diseases and bacteria… or they just love being dirty. There’s stains on the walls, one of them coffee the other I don’t know. The headboard of the bed clearly is never cleaned. The bathroom, the water was stuck and didn’t drain. The shower I had to hold the shower head bc it went down towards the wall when turned on and didn’t wanna stay correctly. The hallway smells horrible. The breakfast wasn’t my thing, I saw insects in the eating area and the fridge had leaking yoghurt with black dots which means it’s not been cleaned properly for a while. (Mold) I’m going to look into food and health security information po
