this hotel is more like a motel with no amenities and hospitality. the front desk lady is very hostile. not sure what the hotel owner would do to improve. I booked this through hotels.com. it was a big mistake. I see now that multiple recent reviews commented on this specific lady at the front desk. do not swear to Asian customers in German. Some of us understand what you are saying... Please be kind and honest. The hotel room was not even ready - no towels. uncleaned bath and bedroom area upon entry. a lot is missing from their operation. Hope this review is helpful and aligned with other Local Guides comments as well.

I used to stay at Augusten Hotel München and had acceptable experiences before, but my last visit was extremely disappointing. The biggest issue was the staff attitude, especially the receptionist. Despite the fact that the room was clearly available, she refused to let us check in early without any reasonable explanation. What made the situation worse was her unprofessional behavior — she spoke to us in a very rude and disrespectful manner. Additionally, when I asked for the room number so I could receive a delivery, she refused again without any attempt to help or offer a solution. This kind of service is completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel that claims to provide a comfortable guest experience. Overall, this visit was frustrating and far below expectations. The poor customer service completely ruined the stay. I highly recommend avoiding this hotel. This was definitely my last visit.

This was the first time I stayed in a hotel without providing my ID at check-in. The rooms and bed are decent, but it is very hard to get proper sleep here, even with earplugs. The building shakes whenever a tram passes, including at night. On top of that, there is continuous car noise throughout the night. I could also feel the bed vibrating when someone in the next room opens or closes their door.
