St. Agnes is the second-largest church in Cologne and most people in Cologne couldn’t tell you where it is. It’s in Neustadt-Nord, about fifteen minutes from the Cathedral, consecrated in 1902 in neogothic style. From the outside it’s imposing in a way that feels slightly out of scale with the neighborhood — a church that was built to last longer than the city around it. Inside it’s calmer. The stained glass is the main event: large, narrative windows that reward the kind of slow looking that most of us have stopped doing. The stations of the cross along the walls are detailed enough to be a separate visit. It’s not on the tourist circuit. That’s not an accident — it’s not trying to be. Come if you want to understand what this city built when it wasn’t performing for visitors.

The church in Cologne is more beautiful and Gothic on the outside but less imposing on the inside.

Church of St. Agnes St. Agnes is a very big and beautiful church. The architectural design and the nice huge stained glass windows make it a very gorgeous Church! It was a nice little stop amongst the many churches we saw

The stations of the cross are interesting. St Agnes is a small, parish church primarily used by the local community. While it may not have the same level of grandeur as Cologne Cathedral, you can still see some interesting features. The church dates back to the 12th St. Agnes Church does not have regular guided tours. The church is primarily used for religious services, so it's best to check opening hours and be respectful during your visit.

was very touched seeing Navalny memorial there, also there are some very good contemporary art pieces inside, and the architecture is magnificent, so highly recommended

Nice church. Has a good kiosk outside where you can buy Drinks and sit around in the summer outside and chill. Also a regular monthly second hand bike market 1st Saturday every month
