The patient's health always comes first, even when it comes to possible non-emergency cases. I was literally passive-aggressively chased away because the problem I had needed to be treated by the house doctor. However, I didn't know the cause of this problem or what had caused my hand to be hard swollen and inflamed, so they should have at least performed triage and determined the extent of the problem, not told me to leave while I sat in the waiting room.

We were there on Dec 5 2023, the guy at the reception desk whom was full of tattoos were very aggressive and hostile to us, yelling ,insulting, and ignoring us in different ways, except during the payment stage. He looked and acted more like an immature bar tender rather then a hospital employee. I suspect its because we spoke English and are immigrants. Will never go there again.

Excellent care from start to finish. The staff took my symptoms seriously, acted quickly, and explained everything clearly. I don’t speak German, but the doctors and nurses spoke excellent English and made communication easy, which I really appreciated. The care was professional, efficient, and reassuring. As someone away from home, I’m very grateful for the treatment I received. Highly recommend.

In summary: good medical treatment, but poor communication and unprofessional patient interaction. These are areas that urgently need improvement. Detailed: I was admitted for an emergency appendicitis operation. The emergency service was fast and professional, and the surgery itself went smoothly. I am thankful to the surgeons and medical team for the medical treatment. However, there were serious issues with communication. After the operation, my family member was informed that I would wake up within 30–60 minutes. In reality, I remained under anesthesia for approximately five hours. Regardless of the medical reasons, this difference was not explained, and no updates were provided during this long period. This caused unnecessary stress and anxiety. Clear and realistic communication with relatives after surgery is essential and needs improvement. Another issue occurred during recovery. A staff member collecting food preferences noticed that we did not understand German. Even after I offered to use Google Translate, the response was: “Das ist Deutschland, nicht England.” This reaction was very unprofessional and lacked empathy. Notaufnahm (ER) service is terrible. Kept me waiting for a whole day. And, then the receiving (an inexperienced young Indian doctor) went home and didn’t give me any feedback. She (lack professionalism) also could not read X-Rays and send me three times to radiology for useless services. It was only after another long wait, another nurse gave me a small cast and sent me home without providing any prescription. Later, I received a 1000€ bill for the unneeded X-Ray. Bad service and do not recommend. Very poor professionalism and below par service. Ich habe sogar die ganz zeit Deutsch gesprochen. Aber die Leistung war unakzeptabel langsam und völlige fehlerhaft.
