Great ENT (HNO) department, amazing care and team. Did a nose & sinus surgery and they were very attentive and did a great job.

I thought this is the least a can do to share how grateful and impressed i was with my recent experience with the HNO Team due to my Spectoplasty operation. Consultation stage: i was clearly described about what the operation involves, through a tablet and drawing on the cross sections of the nose and i had a full transparency of what to expect. Risks were mentioned also, although minimal and rare. Operation day: All the doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists, treated me incredibly from the moment i was on my room until the night after the operation. Caring truly and offering reassurance on every stage and explained how it went after the process. Reall impressed and happy. The next da of release i was told what to be careful of and booked a meeting to remove the nose stents. After 5 days and an incredible care during the removal of them, i was provided cremes and pills for better recovery. I was impressed by the fact that their internal process regarding my care, my understanding of what will happen, my reassurance, consulation, the assistance from each single nurse and doctor, made this experience very easy for me. I was scheduled for hemithyroidectomy here last Friday. However, because the doctors found something malignant, I ended up having my entire thyroid removed. Throughout the entire process I felt in extremely capable hands. The day before the surgery, I had some tests done and talked to my doctors which helped me deal with my nerves. The day of the surgery, I arrived early in the morning and was shown to my room where I prepared and then quickly went down to the theater where Dr Hohenbleicher operated on me. Everyone was nice and professional and my surgeries went extremely well. Did not have any pain and was able to walk a few hours after my second surgery. Due to the great care I received in station 4, I got better very quickly and am already back home two days after the procedure with a surprisingly small scar. The food was really good and the nurses were also very nice! Big thanks to everyone involved. I can only recommend this clinic to anyone looking to get thyroid surgery as there is probably not a better place to get it.

Needed a procedure on my sinuses.Had been referred for a pre-procedure consultation and felt very uncomfortable. Conveyor belt approach with the most junior doctors doing everything and the consultant only spending 30 seconds with me and I felt very patronised. In the end I had the procedure done at Klinikum Grosshadern who took time and did a great job as my local ENT doctor confirmed.

I had my second tonsilectomy (20 years apart) in this hospital and I am so thankfull I ended up here. The doctors are very competent and they walked me through the entire process. Also, from the first visit, a senior doctor came to do a check-up. After the surgery, they personally came to check and explained what happend and the next steps. During this time, the entire stuff has been extremely helpful, especially the ones in the inpatient - they constantly came to check and make sure I have everything I need. I had to hospitalise again after one week because of an infection, and even then they took me over immediately, in less than an hour from coming to the ER I was hospitalised, got treatment and started to feel better. A big thank you for the team in this hospital!
