I was admitted to Sana Clinic due to chronic pain in my knee and back, following a recommendation from an acquaintance. I am very satisfied with the staff—the personnel are professional and attentive. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, and overall everything is well organized and handled with care. I especially appreciated that they offered multiple types of therapy rather than relying on just one approach. They really tried to find what works best for me. What stood out the most was that I could openly ask therapists and doctors questions—and I finally received clear, helpful answers. This has helped me move forward and better understand how to manage my condition. Thank you to the entire team for your support and care.

As many others have mentioned, I would rate the admission procedure, surgery itself and the post operative care with 5 stars. Especially as an international patient I felt very well taken care of. However, there are a few critical things that need immediate attention: 1. I had a double jaw surgery and I was under strict instructions from my surgeon to only consume a liquid diet. However, the catering service kept bringing only hard chewable foods like bread, Semmelknödeln etc which of course I refused to eat. They told me that the hospital did not communicate my dietary needs to them in advance. For the three day stay in the hospital I was given 3 yoghurt cups per day. 400 calories per day for a grown man recovering from a jaw surgery is just not enough. I had to agree with my surgeon on an early discharge because of the food situation. Looking at other comments this issue seems to be going on for years. When is the hospital expected to take concrete steps to resolve the situation? 2. I was constantly bleeding from my nose and because of that I was given a lot of paper towels during the first night stay in the ICU but after moving to the general ward and asking for paper napkins I

My son was treated for his broken clavicle. We got an appointment on the day we called and the doctor said that he needs a surgery. Immediately after that my son had an appointment with an anesthesiologist and general practitioner in the house, very convenient. The personnel is extremely nice and helpful, the doctors excellent. The clinic is very clean and everything is new. I practically had a cultural shock, because I personally had different experience in other clinics. And my son does not have a private insurance, just the Gesetzliche Krankenversicherung!
