This is the worst hospital in Munich. It's is understaffed and only one doctor working on over thirty patients in the night! I had to wait for four hours to be worked on! With a three year old daughter in pain, with three receptionist pretending like there working, only to see them looking at there nails with there legs raised up on the tables. Is this what they call a hospital in Germany??!

This place should be a museum, not a hospital. Emergency room is poorly staffed. Place is not clean and equipment ( specially the computers ) are ancient. Patents and staff is frustrated.

Everyone took care of me so well during my emergency visit and made me feel so comfortable. I want to say big thank you to all the nurses and doctors for being professional and caring. I don’t understand such a bad review here.

I got bitten by a mole my dog had found. I went to see a doctor in a different clinic. They couldn't help me much, but said I might need some shots and specifically mentioned rabies. On the notes printed at the clinic that would be used at the hospital, they didn't mention any shots in particular. I got to the receptionist at the schwabing hospital emergency room, as that was where I was told to go. The receptionist took one look at my papers, and basically asked what I needed. I said maybe shots. He said, we don't have mole shots, what can we do? So I mentioned the rabies. And because they didn't have the shot, I got turned away. It took me another phone call and hours of messing around to just find out that I needed a tetanus shot too. If the guy had just sent me through to be treated for an emergency, just as the doctors notes said instead of asking me, a layman who gets things wrong, it would have saved me hours of running around and stress. Just ended up going back to say I need a tetanus shot and I got sent through. I AM NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. If the doctors say I have an emergency that needs treating, send me through to a doctor like you are legally required to do so. I

I had a bike accident and hurt my knees and face. Didn’t think of going to the ER in the beginning but was bleeding too much. Went there around 10:30 pm and waited for an hour and half to receive treatment. The doctor, Frau Habitzreither, asked me all relevant questions very clearly in English (head injury, abdominal injury etc) and checked if I had other issues before having the assistant patch me up. She also informed me what to expect in the next few days and gave me a tetanus shot at the end. I think the hospital is understaffed, but the doctors and assistants are doing the best they can, especially given the stress and workload they are under. I felt respected and taken care of.
