I had an emergency and needed urgent medical help. After waiting for 6 hours from 7pm, I met the White Angel. I wasn’t sure I would be able to see a doctor that night, so I stopped and asked Dr. Miriam Küthmann, and explained to her my situation. After hearing it, she realized the urgency and seriousness directly. Despite being quite busy with many patients, she offered me the medication I needed to protect me and blood test immediately. She was very patient, professional, empathetic and understanding, while listening to my situation she also made sure the confidentiality. Afterwards she wrote a very detailed report and referred me to her colleague the next day, while making sure I’m protected by enough medication till then. And she made sure I got all the information I needed, all my questions answered, and I could find the right way home. She was absolutely an angel when I was feeling anxious, overwhelmed and helpless. This is the professionalism and empathy a great doctor has. I’m certain every patient will be in great hands by her, and she is and will continue to be a great and respected doctor. I’m giving 4 star here, -1 star due to the other inpatient and unhelpful doctors

Insgesamt kann ich die Notaufnahme loben. Die medizinische Behandlung meiner Platzwunde war hervorragend. Der junge Arzt war persönlich, fachlich und handwerklich wirklich einwandfrei. Die Wartezeit war für die späte Uhrzeit zumindest in Ordnung. Nur bei Aufnahem gab es Luft nach oben. Da habe ich mich eher verloren und unzureichend betreut gefühlt.

Es ist bereits das zweite Mal, dass ich hier in einer echten Notsituation in medizinischer Hinsicht äußerst professionelle und umsichtige Hilfe bekommen habe. Sowohl das aufnehmende Personal, Schwestern, Arzt und Oberärztin waren einfühlsam und kompetent. Bereits vor zwei Jahren wurde meine Tochter mit einer schweren und komplexen Sprunggelenkfraktur hier vorstellig. Die komplexe Situation wurde schnell erfasst und die Operation erfolgte dann vor Ort in der entsprechenden Fachabteilung. Heute hat meine Tochter keinerlei Bewegungseinschränkungen mehr.

Die Behandlung in der Notaufnahme war für mich entwürdigend. Ich hatte das Gefühl, nicht wie ein Mensch, sondern wie eine Nummer behandelt zu werden. Die Kommunikation war kalt und respektlos. Es begann schon bei der Begrüßung: Statt einer empathischen Aufnahme wurde ich mit einem knappen „Was wollen Sie?“ empfangen und musste mehrmals von vorne erklären, was los ist. Ich kam mit Gallenkoliken (Schmerzlevel 8/10) in die Notaufnahme. Drei verschiedene Ärzt:innen führten drei Sonographien meines Oberbauchs durch. Jedes Mal wurde noch stärker gedrückt, obwohl die Schmerzen unerträglich waren. Ein Arzt sagte sogar: „Das kann ja gar nicht weh tun.“ Für mich war das eine zusätzliche Belastung. Besonders absurd war, dass der Stein ohnehin sichtbar war – das übermäßige Drücken war völlig unnötig. Ein weiterer Arzt zuckte nur die Schultern, wirkte genervt und meinte: „Jetzt erzählen Sie halt mal.“ Ich musste die gleiche Geschichte ein drittes Mal wiederholen, während ich vor Schmerzen kaum klar denken konnte. Nach sieben Stunden in der Notaufnahme wurde ich schließlich auf die Station gebracht. Wer mich später operiert hat, weiß ich bis heute nicht – es gab keine Vorstellung. Einen endgü

A real and honest review. Is this place perfect, no, do you have to wait, yes but they are trying hard. I unexpectedly ended up here yesterday and was so scared going in because of the reviews. It was the complete opposite. The staff are friendly and if you don’t speak German speak in very good English. They explain the process, there is a sign saying the waiting time and you are prioritised according to severity which makes sense. I was next and lost my slot to a guy having a cardiac arrest! I’m ok with that. The place is clean, the staff are helpful, there’s water and clean bathrooms and they are trying hard. My nurse was from England and was super friendly and kept me informed throughout. My doctor was German and put me at ease, communicating clearly and trying hard. X-rays done immediately, blood test results took an hour - this is amazing All these fake reviews from people who would get even worse treatment in their home countries is unfair. For a free service, yes I waited over 4 hours but I am grateful! Thank you to the staff.
