Nurses won’t take you seriously and I was waiting 3 hours in emergency sobbing in pain before the doctor saw me , I had an extremely infected tonsil that was insanely painful and all I was given was paracetamol, I was continually given mild painkillers up until my operation. Afterwards I had to beg CONSTANTLY for actual painkillers, sobbing because the pain was so bad and STILL not being taken seriously. I needed to have my tonsils removed , and of course they brought me solid foods and an *orange* ice pop thing , both of which you absolutely should not eat after a tonsillectomy. Again in the morning was brought solid food and when I told them “I can’t eat that, I had a tonsillectomy “ they brought me applesauce with citric acid in it, again , I couldn’t eat it because acid on tonsillectomy wounds is insanely painful. Not to mention when I was trying to be seen and was in a tonne of pain I was forced to go PAY first and then wait in an empty waiting room, IN THE ER!!! I can’t even recommend you go to another hospital because every hospital I’ve had the displeasure of going to in the country has been an equal disaster. The only redeeming qualities of this place was the actual doc

It's a shame there's no minus 5 rating, because that would be the right score. Stay away from this place. A 5-hour wait with a needle stuck in the arm without even being seen by a doctor. People walking in with their dogs and even bringing them into the ER treatment area where patients are being cared for. Stay away from this place, it shouldn't be called a hospital or an emergency room.

My husband was referred to this hospital from another facility with a condition that required urgent evaluation. Despite this, he was not assessed until approximately four hours after arrival. At that point, the decision was made to admit him for observation and to perform an MRI. Once admitted, no one checked on him or monitored his vital signs for nearly eight hours. We were then informed that no medication had been administered because a capillary blood glucose measurement had not yet been performed — a procedure that takes only a few seconds. The following day, he was discharged without the MRI being performed and without a clear explanation of the cause of his condition. To make matters worse, the discharge medication was provided in four blister packs containing quantities that did not appear to match the dosing instructions stated in the discharge report, causing significant confusion and concern about whether he was receiving the correct treatment. Overall, our experience was disappointing due to the delays, lack of communication, and inconsistencies in the discharge process. We will never come back here again!

I had both my babies at Helios, and I have to say I was really impressed with both experiences. As an RN/NP from California, it was important for me to find a hospital I could feel right with, the cultural comfort difference would be huge, especially as I’ve been in the medical field for over 15 years back home and have my own patient care practice. When it comes to your health, it is beyond important to feel like you’re in the right place. I honestly wanted to give birth at the U.S. military hospital I work for, but it was just simply too far from home. So when my Munich-born and raised father- in-law, who is an anesthesiologist, recommended Helios, I was open-minded. Especially since he has been practicing in the Munich area for over 35 years, and I’m glad I listened because I don’t think I could have been better taken care of. The whole medical staff, from the receptionists, to the Hebammen, to the physicians, nurses, cleaners, cooks and aids were really great. I was provided detailed information, both in German and perfect English when I needed it. The delivery area was calm and comforting, and the private single room after birth is meticulously clean and provided the quiet a
