Very very cool little tavern.. With the neatest little tables. Very cozy and quaint... The ambience was phenomenal.i do wish the beers were bigger too stay longer.. I can only imagine how neat this place must be in the winter time.. Very Bavarian

Brilliant restaurant in the heart of Nuremberg. The staff were excellent, we actually visited twice during our 3 day break (it was that good!) - the first time we had no reservation but managed to get the last 2 seats in the house. The second time I booked ahead in the morning and got a reservation no problem. The pork shoulder is the best 🙌 so much meat, flavour and so crispy. Absolutely would recommend 100% for an authentic Bavarian meal.

Had a nice night here. This place is busy and jam-packed with tourists. The sign with 5 different languages for the bathrooms is helpful, but indicative. The fare was good; traditional Franconian food. The multilingual staff provided a functional, but somewhat jaded service. The restaurant was really snug and cosy with very amusing, traditional German decor. Picture the German equivalent of an Irish pub but with old German stuff instead of Irish stuff. It’s either quaint or kitsch, depending on your viewpoint. Good options for food and drink, but our least favourite of the three nights we’ve spent here so far.

I had a fantastic experience here my first night in Nuremberg with my friends. Despite my very broken German and my friends not knowing any German, it was still really easy to get seated and order what we liked. The staff were very friendly and personable, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere really brought this to the next level. If you're in Nuremberg and you want an authentic German meal in a cute environment, here's an excellent choice.

We spent a lovely Sunday afternoon in this restaurant. For starters we shared a pretzel with Obazda, which was absolutely excellent. Our main courses, cheese spaetzle and the pan with pork loin, mushroom cream sauce and spaetzle, were excellent. We also enjoyed the steamed dumplings for dessert. The service was friendly, but we had to wait a relatively long time for our main courses. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. Definitely worth a visit!
