Easily one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. Without question, the best meal we’ve had during our trip to Germany. Everything is made to order, so be prepared for a bit of a wait—but it’s absolutely worth it. Our food arrived piping hot, fresh, and perfectly prepared. Every bite was incredible. The atmosphere, service, and authentic Franconian cuisine made this a meal we’ll be talking about long after our trip. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing experience here for dinner. Arrived early as I didn’t have a booking, was made to feel comfortable and given a table promptly. The pork shoulder was perfect! The restaurant is cosy and warm. Definitely recommend coming here. Would return without question.

Oh my god! Delicious and such wonderful people running this small family restaurant. Rocked up just as it opened and managed to be fitted in before all the bookings arrived. Food was perfect and could not be faulted. But the way we were treated was so good. Thankfully, we managed to get in as we’re here for only one night. I think booking may be useful

Fabulous traditional German food done in a very warm and welcoming way. Great beers, stunning schnitzels and you get to choose from pork, veal and even turkey. The pancake deserts are worth saving some room for too.

We couldn’t end our last day in Nürnberg on a better note. We were seated very quickly in a warm and cozy booth. The waiter very smiley and kind took his time to help and guide us through the menu (even though the restaurant was full). Not even a couple of minutes our drinks were there, then the salads and the rest of the food followed shortly after. We ordered a veal schnitzel and one of their specials. They were both phenomenal on all aspects. The cherry on top though was the funny exchange we had with the owner that made our night. PS: If ever we come back we will definitely go back 🙂.
