Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Nürnberg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.
See the other kirchen, moscheen & gotteshäuser in Nürnberg listed below to compare ratings, hours and locations before you decide. Details on this page come from public sources and may change; confirm anything important by phone before relying on it. Business owners can claim the listing to keep it up to date.

Beautiful Lutheran church that keeps it's medieval vibe at least on the outside, the inside is heavily modified and modernized but you can still enjoy old pieces such as the high altar, definitely worth visiting since the area is home to a few other churches and monuments

St. Jakob is a medieval church located at Jakobplatz. Dedicated to Saint James the Greater, the church has a long history dating back to the early 13th century. Badly damaged during WWII bombings, St. Jakob was restored with modifications. The exterior maintains its medieval appearance, brown brick walls and a single tower. However, the interior shows includes modern and conservative features. The Nave is a simple hall. There is a very attractive high altar that dates to the 14th-century. That was the most interesting thing we found inside. Give St. Jakob a brief visit if you like seeing historic churches during your travels. You can conveniently combine with the Neo-classical Elisabethkirche which is just across the square from St. Jakob.

Such a beautiful church that is filled with history. There are also many Pokemon Go stops in the area!

A stone building placed in Jakobsplatz. Not very big and not out of common. There are at least three more impressive churches in Nuremberg, St Sebaldus, St Lorenz and Frauenkirche. But this one worth a short visit.
